The FastAlign® 5110Pro is a cost-effective professional meter by LEXIUM Professional Technology that allows the user to quickly and easily locate the desired satellite signal from any C or Ku band satellite.

The FastAlign® 5110Pro allows the user to use the parameters of the hundreds of preprogrammed satellite settings in the Lexium FastAlign® 5110Pro or the user can edit the transponder, symbol rate, polarity, and LNBF LO frequency all on one screen & directly from the keyboard of the meter.  No need to connect and download new files, just type in the information and go. 

During the initial setup of the FastAlign® 5110Pro, the user can input his latitude and longitude and  the meter will automatically calculate the azimuth and elevation of the desired satellite based on the location of the satellite

The satellite meter also features back light to allow the satellite installer to install in the dark.  The screen is divided to 5 section. 

The top section provides the Azimuth, Elevation, and LNBF Polarization of the desired satellite. 

The left middle section provides the location of the desired satellite, the transponder frequency, symbol rate, LNBF LO frequency, LNBF polarization ( 13=V / 18=H ), and 22KHz power. 

The right middle section provides signal information such as signal level, signal quality, strength, and signal noise.  If there is no "S" reading, there is no connection between the LNBF and the meter. 

The left bottom section provides the databank of the pre-programmed satellite parameter. 

The left bottom section provides the users Latitude, Longitude, and meter information.

                

FastAlign® 5110Pro Quick Start Guide

What you should do prior to using your FastAlign® 5110Pro for the first time.  Easily setup your new meter in 4 easy steps. 

This quick start guide will walk you through the primary and basic steps on setting up your meter for first use.  You will quickly see that operating the meter is very user-friendly.  Please follow the steps below to set your meter up for first use.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments, or concerns.

Step 1:

For safety measures, the battery inside the meter is disconnected from the meter.  Take the yellow protective cover off of the meter and open the battery cover.  Connect the battery wire to the meter.  Replace the battery cover and replace the yellow protective cover back onto the satellite meter.

Step 2:

Power on the meter by pressing the red power button.  The small triangle cursor should be pointing at "SATELLITE BANK LOCATION".  Please refer to Figure 1.1 above.

Step 3:

Press and hold the "0" button on the keyboard for 3 seconds.  This will move the cursor to the "USER LONGITUDE" position of the screen.  Type in your Longitude, which can be obtained from DishPointer.  You can use any number button to change your position from E to W, or from W to E.

Press the "Option" button on the key board to move the cursor from "USER LONGITUDE" to "USER LATITUDE".  Set your Latitude which can be obtained from DishPointer. 

Step 4:

Press the "Save" button to save the settings.

Congratulations!  You have just setup your new FastAlign® 5110Pro professional satellite meter!

Note: Only after completing step 3, your meter will use the pre-programmed satellite list for that particular part of the hemisphere (Eastern hemisphere or Western hemisphere).  For example, if you are in the eastern hemisphere, by entering "E" in the "USER LONGITUDE" section of the meter, your meter will display pre-programmed satellite list available in the eastern hemisphere.  If you are in the western hemisphere (North & South America) and enter "W" in the "USER LONGITUDE" section of the meter, your meter will display satellites available in the western hemisphere.
